Optical response of SrTiO<sub>3</sub> thin films grown via a sol-gel-hydrothermal method

The polycrystalline SrTiO3 thin films were prepared by the sol-gel-hydrothermal method on glass substrates. synthesis pathway was initiated preparing a clear TiO2 solution using sol-gel method. This then deposited substrate dip coating technique, followed transformation of layer into hydrothermal crystal structure, bond interactions, and band gap energy layers characterized X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infra-Red spectroscopy (FTIR), UV–Vis Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (UV-DRS). XRD patterns all indicated perovskite structure samples. FTIR spectrum showed an interaction silanol groups surface with Ti–O–Ti layers. characteristics UV-DRS influenced thickness formed substrate. findings this work provide insights for producing specified morphology.
